Head of Public Relations, Mr. Hamde Blackic, attended a three-day Global Changemakers' meeting in Qatar in February as a representative of Doha International Center for Interfaith Dialogue. Global Changemakers is a project managed by the British Council in Switzerland and its patron is Gordon Brown, the British Prime Minister.
On January 16th-19th 2009, dozens of young Muslims gathered in Doha, Qatar for the 2009 Muslim Leaders of Tomorrow Conference (MLT) to share skills and discuss what they perceived to be the Muslim world’s most urgent collective challenges.
As part of its summer activities, the Doha International Center for Interfaith Dialogue (DICID) is organising a tour to the UK for a 20-member group of Qatari children.
