02 Mar The DICID condemned the anti-Muslims violence in India
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful:
“whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land – it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one – it is as if he had saved mankind entirely.” (Surat Al-Maida : 32)
The Doha International Center for Interfaith Dialogue has firmly condemned the recent and alarming violence against Muslims in India, and the desecration of Islamic places of worship resulting in the death and injury of innocent people and the arson and vandalism of mosques and Muslim-owned properties.
The DICID expressed its condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the families of victims of the “heinous acts”, and wished a quick recovery for the injured.
DICID demanded Indian authorities to bring the instigators and perpetrators of these acts of anti-Muslim violence to justice, and to ensure the safety and security of all its Muslim citizens and the protection of Islamic holy places across the country.
