The Doha International Center for Interfaith Dialogue(DICID) condemns Charlie Hebdo republishing cartoons of Prophet Muhammad « Peace be upon him ».
The DICID strongly rejects all those acts that clearly offend the principles and values of all religions whitch contains disrespect toward (Muslims) and the Prophet Muhammad.and It is not possible to justify this insult and disrespect toward Muslims by freedom of press, art or expression.
It is a great tragedy, disrespect toward the Prophets and religious leaders who have dedicated their lives to call for peace, love and brotherhood among different communities, through the divine teachings.
Doha International Center for Interfaith Dialogue calls leaders and peace-loving people to reject all forms of hate speach and intolerance, making every effort possible to raise our voices for peace, by spreading the spirit of tolerance, mutual respect and solidarity among the followers of different religions.
The Doha International Center for Interfaith Dialogue urges countries all over the world, international organizations, human rights organizations and influential global figures to protect religious leaders as well as faith organizations, and undertake all measures for preventing such heinous acts, by spreading peace and empathy, to restore confidence amongst different communities and faiths.
