04 Nov Youth Forum Qatar honors Dr. Ibrahim Saleh Al-Nuaimi
Youth Forum Qatar honored His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Saleh Al Nuaimi, Head of the Department of the Doha International Center for Interfaith Dialogue (DICID) and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, on the selection of Dr. Al Nuaimi by The Institute of Peace and Development (INSPAD) among the ten most influential Islamic personalities in the world. It is noteworthy that the committee responsible for the selection includes five thousand (5,000) peace ambassadors from various countries of the world, in addition to twelve thousand (12,000) Islamic personalities from various countries of the world with the aim of honoring the most influential Islamic personalities in achieving peace and supporting dialogue.
Mr. Absal Abdhutty Muhammed, Vice President of Youth Forum Qatar, handed Dr. Al Nuaimi the memorial award at a ceremony held at the Doha International Center for Interfaith Dialogue. Mr. Absal praised his pioneering role in the field of rapprochement and coexistence and the call for peace and dialogue among the various faith and religion. He added that the Youth Forum is proud of the selection of Dr. Ibrahim Al-Nuaimi by the International Center for Peace Research and Development, and the Youth Forum is honored to honor him. He said that the Doha International Center for Interfaith Dialogue (DICID) headed by Dr. Ibrahim Al-Nuaimi is constantly cooperating with the Indian community in Qatar. Mr. Absal expressed his thanks and appreciation to Dr. Al-Nuaimi and the Center for supporting the various activities and activities of the Youth Forum over the yester-years.
Dr. Al-Nuaimi confirmed the center’s readiness for continuous cooperation with Youth Forum, and praised the role of the Youth Forum in spreading the culture of dialogue and synchronicity among the communities residing in the State of Qatar. The honoring ceremony was witnessed by Mr. Ahmad Anwar and Mr. Mohamed Anees, representatives of the Youth Forum.
It is worth noting that Youth Forum is a social and cultural association for young people, which works among the Indian community in the State of Qatar, and implements various cultural, social, educational and sports activities, in cooperation with relevant governmental and non-governmental agencies including the Doha International Center for Interfaith Dialogue. The center, in cooperation with the Youth Forum, organizes the annual iftar meeting of the Indian community in the blessed month of Ramadan for the past eight years. The Center, in cooperation with the Youth Forum, also organizes an annual debate competition for the students of Indian Schools in Qatar.
