13 Mar DICID represented in Pakistan international interfaith dialogue conference
Islamabad, the Pakistani capital hosted, in the period 24-25 November 2015, an International interfaith dialogue conference, entitled : “Peaceful coexistence on the light of religious belief”, organized by “ the Voice of Islam council, under the auspices of Pakistani Religious Affairs Ministry.
The Conference aims the spread of spirit of coexistence and mutual understanding, between followers of different faiths all over the world, to achieve harmony and peace among people away from disagreements and religious extremism.
DICID was represented by Mr. Mahammad ALGHAMIDI, member of the Board of Directors, along with 25 personalities, as well as delegation from more than 40 countries; representing the 7 world largest religions, and more than 500 participants from inside Pakistan.
All participants stressed that all communities will continue as it was by the past to live together in harmony and peacefully, by taking advantage of cultural, ethnic and religious differences, as a factor of richness and diversity, and cultural interaction, that will result in a cultural diversity based societies, sharing brotherhood and homeland identity.
